Ballantine’s x Borderlands

I looooove video games. So when Ballantine’s, a Scotch whisky brand, wanted to figure out how to tap into the world of gamers, I was in. The idea? Introduce Mad Moxxi, the iconic bartender from the Borderlands video game franchise, as Ballantine’s new Chief Galactic Expansion Officer. Leveraging her fame, allure, and overall badass-ness to sell a ton of whisky to gamers.

No Problem had already began building up the campaign, creating a launch video alongside LinkedIn and Twitter accounts for the newly-hired CGEO. My job was to create tons of social and Twitch content in Moxxi’s voice to get gamers and whisky drinkers stoked out of their minds. Lots of inside jokes. Lots of fun.
